"We Build Excitement" wasn't just a slogan — the 1987 Pontiac Firebird GTA was proof. New for that model year, the GTA was the ultimate expression of the third-gen Firebird: a sleek, cleanly drawn body with a smooth front apron, wrap-around rear spoiler, and aero side skirts. Under the hood sat a 5.7-liter V8 making 210 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque, backed by Pontiac's legendary WS6 handling package and 16-inch diamond-spoke alloy wheels.
Revell originally tooled this 1/16 scale kit when the car was brand new. This is its first return in decades — a rare opportunity to build one of the most iconic American muscle cars of the 1980s at an impressive large scale.
