The P-61 Black Widow was America's first purpose-built night fighter — a twin-boom, twin-engine beast designed to hunt in the dark. Revell's 1/48 scale kit captures the Black Widow's imposing presence with 130 parts molded in black and clear plastic, raised panel lines, and a level of interior detail that rewards careful builders.

The cockpit is fully detailed with floor, instrument panels, pilot seats, and controls, while the rear cockpit includes the navigator and radio operator positions. Pop the cowlings off to reveal the detailed engines, and pose the flaps up or down on the gun bay housing the 20mm cannon. Markings for two aircraft are included, with optional external fuel tanks for the P-61B variant.
