Tom Daniel was the king of the show rod, and the Fire Iron is one of his most outrageous creations — a vintage fire engine reimagined as a full-on custom show machine. Atlantis Models brings this classic design back in 1/24 scale, molded in fire engine red right out of the box and loaded with the kind of wild detail that made Tom Daniel a legend.
Under the hood sits a Ford Cobra 289 mill dressed with "hose coupling" headers. Brass-plated rims and black rubber super-wide drag slicks give it that unmistakable show-rod stance. Fire axes are mounted on the side, a fire extinguisher rides the running board, and the top and side ladders are fully detailed. A collectible sticker is included.
