The B-52 Stratofortress is undoubtedly the most famous and famous long-range strategic bomber in aviation history. Produced by the American company Boeing since 1955, it was for a long time a symbol of the Cold War and equipped the flight departments of the US Air Force Strategic Air Command. Produced in numerous versions, it has progressively evolved to better respond to changing operational needs. The "G" version represented the high point, in terms of units produced, of the "Stratofortress" project. It was delivered to the departments in the early 1960s and was characterized by marked improvements in the airframe, improved avionics and, essential for a strategic bomber, B-52Gs also participated in Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
