New Plastic Model Kits from Takom

New Plastic Model Kits from Takom

We just added two new kits from the model kit manufacturer Takom. This company was established in Hong Kong in 2013. They embarked on an aggressive program of model releases.

The first kit is the M9 ACE (Armored Combat Earthmover). This kit features lots of great detail. It has workable hatches and individual workable tracks. The dozer blade can elevate and depress while the ejector is able to move forward and backward. The suspension can be built in raised or lowered position. Photo-etched and clear parts are included as well as 8 types of markings.  See this kit here.

The second kit is the Krupp 420mm Big Bertha World War I artillery piece. This 16 inch gun fired shells that weighed 1,800 pounds.

The kit features a highly detailed exterior,
multi-piece short naval gun with detailed gun assemblies,
1-piece gun shield, gun can elevate and depress,
2-piece 42-cm shell,
detailed platforms and crane, brass chain for railing, 1-piece ladders.
